The user interface
Rhino interface is split into two parts. The top, dark grey part consists in a set of “tabs”, which can be used to access different logical functions. The bottom part is fixed, and gives access to important global parameters.
The interface uses sliders that can be moved with the mouse left button. These sliders also have a numeric value displayed next to them. The following applies to all sliders in Rhino user interface:
- All sliders can also be controlled by the mouse wheel (if your VST host supports it).
- You can use the Shift key of the keyboard, to select values with more accuracy.
- You can drag the numeric values (with or without the Shift key) to set the value of Rhino parameters.
Changing the look of the interface
The look of the user interface can be customized using “skins”. To install a new skin:
- Backup the contents of the skin subdirectory (in the Rhino install folder)
- Extract the contents of the new skin into this skin directory.
